Sports Balm is a wintergreen massage lotion and warm-up rub. Simply rub into the skin before or after exercise. The lotion produces a gentle warming effect that 'wakes up' your body and senses, and gets you ready to perform.

  • Use before sport to warm up and prepare muscles for exercise
  • Use after sport to relax stiff or sore muscles
  • Pleasant, wintergreen fragrance

Sports Balm contains menthol and methyl salicylate (wintergreen).  Supplied in screw top bottles of 500ml.

Please note, this sports balm was recently re-branded (it was previously sold under the CMS name.) The brand may have changed, but as far as we know the formulation is the same.

How to use

Sports Balm is a pure white lotion or liniment with a light consistency. Dispense the required amount and massage gently into the skin until well absorbed. Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes, broken skin and other sensitive areas.

    Wintergreen rubbing oil as i remember it

    Nothing has ever been better than a wintergreen rubbing oil for pre-activity massage. This is the real stuff, as I remember it from changing rooms of old. It smells good, feels great when rubbed in to muscles pre-match, gets the blood flowing, simply wonderful. And compared with other rubbing oil, it’s a bargain. I’m so glad I found it online. Please carry on selling it.

    used to have wintergreen lincture mixed up by the chemist years ago, tried lots of rubs since and nothing was the same. So glad ive found this product, rubs in to the skin well and has the same old school aroma.. Defo be recommending this product to the rest of my rugby buddies thanks
